E-6 Slide Processing

We uphold our quality processing with a Rafrema lift and advance (a.k.a. dip and dunk) processor. With this system your film has no contact with any object that may cause damage. We can handle film ranging from 35mm to 8x10 sheets, as well as accommodate a high volume. We treat one roll of 35 mm the same as one hundred – like it was our own!

We run a clean and consistent film line using the Fuji Oasis program (Fuji’s equivalent to Kodak Q-lab), allowing us to keep up with the slightest changes. Professionals count on this, and amateurs are thrilled about it.

Turn around time:
Same-day service:
Drop off film by Noon, pick-up by 4:00 p.m. (2:00 p.m. on Fridays).

Slide Duplication

Photographic Traditions is proud to offer, in conjunction with our E-6 processing, the finest in optical slide duplication available. Our technicians make every effort to match or in some cases correct color and density from the original transparency. With large format duplicates, we can also crop, burn and dodge.

Average turn around is 3-5 days. Larger orders may take longer. Please let us know if “time is of the essence.”

While Photographic Traditions continues to be dedicated to the optical or wet processes of photography we also recognize that many of our clients are working in more than one media. As a result in 2004 we asked Pure Photographic Goodness (see www.purephotogoodness.com for additional services offered) AKA Noah Krell to join us. He and his business are steeped in the traditions of optical photography but within our walls offer many clients, amateur, professional or large corporation alike, some of the benefits of digital photography without the time-intensive learning curve often required.

When Photographic Traditions added E-6 processing to its lineup of quality services, Pure Photographic Goodness added 35mm slides from digital files. These slides are great for all of your display and exhibition needs.

Your digital files are recorded to Fuji Astia slide film using an 8k Polaroid film writer at up to 8000 lpi. Pure Photographic Goodness can accept files from CD, ZIP disc, email or FTP. Average turnaround time is 48 hours.

For optimal slide quality please submit files:
- As 8-bit RGB (for both color and B&W)
- Saved as a TIF, PSD, or JPG (please select the highest quality compression w/JPG)
